Plasma IQ™ Fibroblasting
Benefits of Plasma IQ™ Fibroblasting
How Plasma IQ™™ Skin works
Plasma IQ™ harnesses the power of plasma energy to trigger epidermal fulguration, resulting in immediate skin reaction and tightening in the treatment area. Due to the non-surgical micro-injuries sustained during treatment, the skin stimulates fibroblasts within the dermal layer. Active fibroblasts generate new collagen and elastin to renew and restore the skin. As the device approaches the skin during treatment, it ionizes gas particles in the air to create an electrical arc between the tip and skin that looks like a spark. The electrical arc causes epidermal fulguration; turning a solid straight into a gas, activating the skin’s natural healing process. Procedure creates tiny brown carbon crusts, or scabs, in the treated area that remain for approximately a week before dropping off.
While patients can see improved results after their first treatment, multiple treatments are recommended to obtain and maintain optimal results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What can I expect with this treatment?
The Plasma IQ treatment is designed to tighten and firm delicate skin on the face with pin-point precision. Before beginning the treatment, our nurses will massage a medical-grade numbing cream on the treatment area. The numbing cream will effectively numb the area in roughly 25-30 minutes, with additional cream carefully applied within that time frame. Once the numbing cream has taken effect, the nurse will then prep the skin for the treatment. The Plasma IQ utilizes a tiny pinpoint charged with an ionized, electrical current that causes tiny, brown “crusts” to form on the treatment area. These crusts fall off on their own during the week following treatment.
