Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. We begin most treatments with a consultation to evaluate your concerns, discuss your goals, and create a personalized plan for you.

Yes, whether it’s your first visit or you’re a regular, we ensure you feel comfortable and well-guided throughout your experience.
Where is The Laser Cafe located?
We are located at 1205 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92103, in the heart of the vibrant Hillcrest neighborhood, easily accessible from multiple directions and surrounded by great shops, cafés, and restaurants.
Are your practitioners certified and experienced?
Yes. All cosmetic treatments are performed by registered nurses under the supervision of our Medical Director, Dr. Charles Sarosy. Our team includes highly experienced aesthetic nurses, medical assistants, and patient coordinators dedicated to delivering exceptional care.

Booking & Appointments
How do I book an appointment?
New clients can fill out a quick intake form on our website to get started. Existing clients can book directly through our online patient portal at blvd.app/@thelasercafe. You can also reach us by phone at +1 619-795-8303 or by email at info@thelasercafe.com.
Do I need a referral to book a consultation?
No referral is needed. You can book a consultation with our team directly at any time.
What are your clinic hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We ask that you provide adequate notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. We require a minimum of 24hrs prior to your appointment time. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible at 619-795-8303 or info@thelasercafe.com if you need to change your appointment.
Consultation & Treatments
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes, we offer free consultations to discuss your skin concerns and aesthetic goals, so our team can recommend the most suitable treatments for you.Although we do not charge for consultations, we do require a deposit to confirm all appointments with The Laser Cafe. A $49 deposit is required for consultation appointments, and a $100 deposit is required for consultation-and-treatment appointments or new patient treatment appointments.
These deposits are fully refundable if you decide not to move forward with treatment or services at The Laser Cafe. If you choose to proceed, your deposit will be applied toward your first treatment purchase.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your visit will begin with a thorough consultation where our specialists assess your concerns and design a personalized treatment plan. In many cases, treatment can begin on the same day.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
Our experienced team will evaluate your skin type, aesthetic concerns, medical history, and treatment goals during your consultation. When appropriate, medical clearance may be required to help ensure the selected treatment is safe, suitable, and tailored to your individual needs.
Can I receive multiple treatments in one session?
Yes. Depending on your treatment plan, our team may combine procedures to maximize your results safely and effectively.
What skin concerns do you treat?
We address a wide range of concerns, including unwanted hair, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, pigmentation, enlarged pores, skin laxity, uneven skin tone, and more.
Are your treatments safe?
Yes, we use medical-grade, FDA-cleared technology, and all treatments are performed by trained, licensed professionals under physician supervision.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are generally minimal when qualified professionals perform treatments. Temporary redness, swelling, or sensitivity may occur depending on the procedure and typically resolve quickly.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, CareCredit, and Cherry Payment. Please note that as of January 1, 2025, we are going cashless and no longer accept cash payments.
Do you offer financing options?

Do you accept insurance?
Aesthetic treatments are generally not covered by insurance. Please check with your provider if you have a specific medical condition that may qualify for coverage.
Are there any promotions or special offers?

Is pricing the same for all patients?
